Christmas is approaching, a time full of love, symbolism, hope and joy. A holiday full of emotions, with a special meaning for all of us, and especially for children. How about we celebrate it this year by giving it our own creative twist? The Parents Association of Galatas Primary School with the participation of the Social Grocery of the Municipality of Troizinia Methana and Katheti invite you to a children’s fest for Christmas. The Christmas fest will take place on Sunday, December 18th at Galatas Primary School. We are looking forward to seeing both parents and children at 11:30, in order to sing, paint our faces, make beautiful Christmas cards and exchange warm Christmas wishes.

Solidarity, singing, playing and creating

The event will include music, sweets and mulled wine for the parents as well as the Parents Association’s Christmas bazaar. Alongside, the Social Grocery of the Municipality of Troizinia Methana will be at the bazaar area with a basket for the collection of goods, inviting the citizens to donate long-lasting food and personal hygiene products. Pelagia Sampanis (JP Hair Dresser & Barbershop) will also be there. She will give a Christmas look to the children’s faces through face painting. At the same time, Mara Dimopoulou (Katheti’s volunteer) will draw with the children Christmas cards full of colors and wishes. And all these will happen in a warm festive environment that the children themselves will create through their joy and smile.

Katheti is pleased to participate in a children’s fest organized by the Parents Association’s. We aim to collaborate with local entities as well as to support and enhance children’s creative imagination with this but also similar actions. In the past we have organized the Christmas Ornaments Workshop, the children’s play “Ο ραφτάκος των λέξων” (The Small Tailor of Words) and the book presentation “Do books actually talk?”
