Series of Entrepreneurship webinars

Katheti is organizing a series of webinars for local entrepreneurs delivered by Angela Makri Dekoulou. The Entrepreneurship Webinars will provide the required knowledge, in order to create a successful business or to improve the performance of an existing one. The Human Resources Management webinar will take place on March 19th, 2023 from 17:00 to 19:00. The participation fee is 20 euros for Katheti’s members and enrollment until March 5th. For non-members with webinar enrollment after March 5th, the fee is 30 euros. The participation fee for the whole cycle is 60 euros.

The current status

Human resources exist in all businesses, regardless of their legal form. Nothing works without the human-employee! All large businesses have a Human Resources Manager (HR Manager), who is responsible for recruiting, training, directing, evaluating, rewarding, and through all of this, the successful collaboration of employees to achieve the company’s goals.

Though, small businesses rely on the personal decisions of the employer, which may not always be profitable for the business.

The webinar

The Human Resources Management webinar will give all entrepreneurs part of the knowledge that small to middle companies’ HR Managers have. Through this knowledge they will succeed in improving the efficiency of their employees and their business.

The instructor

Angela Makri Dekoulou has studied Business Administration at the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business and is specialized in Investment Evaluation and Financial Management at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She believes in Lifelong Learning and when she moved to Poros, she considered the knowledge of Tourism Business Management as necessary. She obtained this knowledge by attending the namesake training program at the University of the Aegean. In 1983 she was hired at Emporiki Bank where she soon became a Manager and became a member of the Bank’s training seminars as an instructor. Today, she teaches Business Administration, Human Resources Management and Total Quality Management at a Private College based in Athens.

Katheti organizes the Human Resources Management webinar in order to support local entrepreneurs and all those who seek to broaden their horizons and acquire new skills. Its intention is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge that facilitates the prosperity and development of our economy. As part of this effort, Katheti has followed a versatile approach. In the past it has organized seminars on topics including Soft Skills, Presentation and Public Speaking Skills, Digital Marketing and Strategic Career. Katheti also provides Coaching services with Business and Life Coaching sessions and counseling for job seekers.
