Series of Entrepreneurship webinars

Katheti is organizing a series of webinars for local entrepreneurs delivered by Angela Makri Dekoulou. The Entrepreneurship Webinars will provide the required knowledge, in order to create a successful business or to improve the performance of an existing one. The “Management Functions, Health and Safety in Businesses” webinar is the 3rd of the “Entrepreneurship” cycle. It will take place on April 30th, 2023 from 17:00 to 19:00. For Katheti’s members and for enrolments until April 17th the participation fee is 20 euros. For non-members and enrollment after April 17th, the fee is 30 euros.

The current status

We have all heard the words “I am a manager, I manage” and we understand that this person has a position of responsibility in the company they works for. But what exactly does it do?

The webinar

The “Management Functions, Health and Safety in Businesses” webinar aims to inform us about the responsibilities a company manager has, with detailed reference to each of these responsibilities. We will also look at the legislation on health and safety in businesses, what are the penalties if we break it and what should we do in the case of an accident in the workplace.

The instructor

Angela Makri Dekoulou has studied Business Administration at the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business and is specialized in Investment Evaluation and Financial Management at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She believes in Lifelong Learning and when she moved to Poros, she considered the knowledge of Tourism Business Management as necessary. She obtained this knowledge by attending the namesake training program at the University of the Aegean. In 1983 she was hired at Emporiki Bank where she soon became a Manager and became a member of the Bank’s training seminars as an instructor. Today, she teaches Business Administration, Human Resources Management and Total Quality Management at a Private College based in Athens.

Katheti organizes The “Management Functions, Health and Safety in Businesses” webinar in order to support local entrepreneurs and all those who seek to broaden their horizons and acquire new skills. Its intention is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge that facilitates the prosperity and development of our economy. As part of this effort, Katheti has followed a versatile approach. In the past it has organized seminars on topics including Soft Skills, Presentation and Public Speaking Skills, Digital Marketing and Strategic Career. Katheti also provides Coaching services with Business and Life Coaching sessions and counseling for job seekers.
