Let the music guide you and come experience the embrace of tango, taking your first steps this year at Katheti! Starting in November, Katheti will be offering tango lessons in collaboration with Maria Rantou and Christos Litsas. Join us for the introductory meeting on Tuesday, November 4 at 8:00 pm at Katheti. Classes will take place every Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., at a cost of 30 euros/month or 50 euros/month for 2 people who come as dance partners. Tango (European/Argentinian), beyond learning dance movements and connecting with Argentinian tradition, offers us a wonderful way to socialize and have fun. We can’t wait to see you there!

Tango is a dance of connection with the music, with your partner, and with yourself, where every step tells its own story. To dance tango, you need nothing more than the willingness to embrace and be embraced. All it takes is positive energy and a smile. Tango is not just a dance; it is a language of communication and a part of Argentinian culture. To truly understand it, one must love its music and rhythm. Beyond technique, tango is about community. It finds its most authentic expression in milongas, the traditional evenings where people meet, dance, share moments, and form bonds. Tango is an embrace, a smile, and positive energy. It is a living language spoken through music, lyrics, and traditional milongas, spaces where people connect, share, and experience the true social essence of the dance.

Maria and Christos have been dance instructors for the past 30 years, with experience in European, Latin, and traditional dances.
