The music event “Melodies of Love in the Light of Christmas” is a journey full of emotion, memories, and festive magic! Elena Solomou, accompanied by her piano, will weave a festive tale from Greek and French melodies. Songs about love, nostalgia, and hope will be performed, along with Christmas melodies that will awaken childhood memories within us. Elena’s music will beautifully evoke emotions, reminding us of the magic of music and Christmas.

Biography of Elena Solomou

Elena Solomou is a classical pianist and performer of Greek and French songs. She has given recitals as a soloist and holds a piano diploma, a degree in advanced music theory, and contemporary singing. She works as a music teacher and choir director at the Hellenic-French School “Saint Paul”, while also teaching piano and contemporary singing in conservatories. At the same time, she performs in concerts with Greek and French repertoire and in music-literary events together with poets and writers. She has released two albums with FM Records, one in Greek and one in French, and is currently preparing her third album featuring works by Greek composers in debut recordings.

Last winter, Katheti Winter 2024-2025 presented a variety of cultural, educational, and environmental events and activities. This year’s program, Katheti Winter 2025-2026, becomes even richer, with new programs and collaborations. Together, we will enjoy a wonderful winter full of dance, entertainment, education, and creativity.
