Katheti’s Vocal Ensemble Concert “Oldies but Goldies”

29 June 24

Old time classics age like fine wine! Katheti is excited to announce the concert of its Vocal Ensemble titled “Oldies but Goldies”! Like last year, Katheti is completing another year of practical work and rehearsals with the Vocal Ensemble Workshop’s participants. The result of this work is a concert performance of a musical program with a variety of old and favorite Greek and foreign songs on Saturday, June 29 at 9:00 pm at Katheti. Free entrance.

This year, the choir and its smaller vocal ensembles will take us on a journey through timeless favorites from the 1960s-2000s, creating a unique atmosphere through dyads, triads and other musical motifs. A nostalgic evening, where beloved melodies of the past will come alive, awakening memories and emotions. The dedication and effort of the participants will culminate in a concert that will bring generations together through the universal and timeless language of music.

The workshop is a collaboration between Katheti and Sofia Zarani, while Alkis Evangelatos will accompany on the piano.
