Free membership card for teachers and students
Katheti, with its activities, supports all the locals who seek to expand their horizons and learn new skills. Katheti’s membership card ensures discounted or free participation and priority access to seminars and all its activities, as well as the privilege of borrowing books from our lending library. This year we are offering a free membership card for teachers and students of primary and secondary education of Poros and Troizinia-Methana municipalities. Our offer aims to facilitate the participation of the educational community’s members in personal development and professional- and life-skills seminars.
Our programs
In the context of the “School of Educators”, we have organized training seminars for teachers in a wide range of topics: Non formal education, lesson planning, school peer mediation, classroom assessment techniques, creativity, foreign language teaching tools, etc.
Then, we added the “Life and Career” program to our services. This program is developed in four directions:
- Career Guidance, an advisory process for teenagers and unemployed people, based on the use of psychometric tools.
- Counseling for job seekers, which complements career guidance.
- We also offer Business and Life Coaching sessions: a creative, thought-provoking process, that inspires the coachee to maximize his/her personal and professional potential.
- Additionally, Mentoring at Katheti is a platform for local professionals to share their experience with local youth.
Other seminars and workshops
We have offered training seminars for personal and professional development, such as Digital Marketing, Soft Skills (stress management, giving and receiving feedback, goal setting and solution-focused mindset), Public Speaking, Internet Safety, as well as Greek lessons for immigrant children, for their better integration in the school community.
In the near future, we will focus more on life skills, i.e. skills necessary for modern life, both professionally and personally.
Last but not least, Katheti is open to listening to you and organize seminars according to your needs. Offering a free membership card to teachers and students, we seek to strengthen the ongoing effort to provide appropriate tools for self-improvement, knowledge and personal development.
