We are painting together at Katheti! Two-hour painting and drawing lessons with painter Mara Dimopoulou start at Katheti, Galatas, in November. The Painting Workshop will take place every Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:00. The courses offered are for beginners. We paint together, we learn and we exchange.
“If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.”Vincent Van Gogh
The Painting Workshop will be open to everyone. It is addressed to people with passion for painting and it offers knowledge on all levels. The courses are completely free for Katheti’s members and all we ask of you is to bring with you a few pencils and a lot of positive attitude.
We learn together techniques, design, shading, color theory and the movements that influenced painting. We discuss, analyze and develop our work. Appetite for work and need for learning are all you need in order to create something beautiful. It is incredible what one can create with a little theory and a lot of love.
Bring with you:
- Your pencils
- A4 papers for your designs
- Your appetite
- Love for expression
