The Gyroscope is a personal and professional development workshop for teenagers aged 16-19; a series of sessions in which we choose the topics for 10 different workshops: we learn what are our personal values and what are the values of the community we live in, we explore how to communicate with persons coming from a different cultural background, we develop presentation and public speaking skills and we learn how to boost our self-confidence. Also, we learn how to write a CV and how to contact potential employers, how to think in an entrepreneurial way, how to find alternative solutions to problems we face and, lastly, how to achieve our goals.

The trainer and translator Anastasia Karouti has taught in public vocational schools, as well as at language centers and she has joined seminars on education, non-formal and experiential learning, intercultural communication and Erasmus+ programme in Greece and abroad. For two years, she worked as a trainer and educational designer at NGOs in Romania.
