One of the most beloved Greek musicians, Matthaios Giannoulis, is coming for the first time to Poros, on Friday, July 14^th, 2023, to offer together with Antonis Gambierakis and their orchestra a genuine island feast in Iroon Square, in the center of Poros. The concert is co-organized by Poros Municipality, Attika Region and Katheti, as part of Poros Arts Festival 2023. All events raise money for little Valeria.

The famous singer-songwriter has prepared, together with his musicians, a summer eve that will be unforgettable for the residents and visitors of Poros. His music, with its island and traditional rhythms, promises to excite and entertain the audience. It is a concert that invites the audience to leave their burdens behind and enjoy a journey from Poros to every distant island cluster of Greece.

Matthaios Giannoulis

Matthaios Giannoulis is a musician, singer, composer and lyricist with a long career in traditional island music. He was born on June, 9^th, 1965 in the mountain village Apeiranthos, Naxos island, where his family comes from, and where he lived until he was 14 years old. He produced his first songs on his own, with his own lyrics and music, on cassettes and they were met with great success. At the age of 21, he entered the record industry and worked with many record companies, such as Sport Music, Minos EMI, Heaven music, Sony Music, Siganos Music, Alfa Records, Tmg, Next Records.

He was entrusted with songs by Giannis Parios and Stamatis Gonidis, while he collaborated with Angela Dimitriou, Makis Christodoulopoulos, Lefteris Pantazis, Themis Adamantidis, Giorgos Koros, etc.
