On Tuesday, July 18^th, 2023, at 8:30pm, Poros beachfront will be filled with millions of soap bubbles, which will bring us happiness and make us dream at the same time! La Petite Marguerite is coming to our island as part of Poros Arts Festival, which Poros Municipality has entrusted to Katheti to co-organize for 2023. With their unique bubble parade & performing, in which they specialize, they will present us “Cloud-cuckoo-land”… with soap bubbles!

The performance

A moving interactive performance, inspired by the wanderings of the Australian Aborigines, it was born as an idea by La Petite Marguerite, in order to free their performance from the narrow boundaries and limitations of stage space. It is a great celebration, during which the feeling of joy, dreaming, reality and fairytale is strengthened. The aim is to share a personal experience, to create an atmosphere of joy, interactive play and spontaneous communication. The audience each time points the way, the time and the way.

Art group La Petite Marguerite works with scientific theater, and more specifically the science of soap bubbles. It started in 2012 and since then it has toured many cities, villages and remote islands of our country, organizing workshops and performances, and generously giving away millions of soap bubbles and countless smiles. Their visits to schools, museums, squares, streets, rooftops, cafes, grocery stores or sweet shops are always concluded with the same promise: To free the smile that we have inside us!

In all the events of this year’s Poros Arts Festival, money is raised to support nine-year-old Valeria.
