Poros Arts Festival – Mixed media visual arts exhibition “Transformations”

3 September 23

In a summer full of cultural events, this year’s Poros Arts Festival concludes with a beautiful assembly of friends, who are united by art. Giorgos Gelis (painting, Orthodox art), Eleni Pediaditaki (photography), Nikos Pavlou (photography) and Athanassia Tsoukala (ceramics) meet and present the mixed media visual arts exhibition “Transformations”. The exhibition will be hosted at Katheti’s venue in Pounta, Poros, from 3 to 13 September and will be open to the public daily between 7-11pm. The opening will take place on Sunday the 3rd of September at 8pm. The mixed media visual arts exhibition “Transformations” is part of the Poros Arts Festival, which Poros Municipality has entrusted to Katheti to co-organize this year.

The four friends decided to bring their arts together in search of the connection between logic and imagination through the allegory of art. This is an art exhibition including paintings, photographs and handmade ceramic table tiles in simple lines, mainly in the shades of blue.

In the past, Katheti has organized photography and painting exhibitions, theater workshops and seminars, painting workshops, theatrical performances, book presentations, and music events. Some of the activities of the past years are our achievements in 2021 and 2022, giving us the experience and impetus to continue even more dynamically this year, as co-organizers of the Poros Arts Festival.
